All true as I've said before, the American people (and all people for thst matter) deserve better but for some reason most Americans have been convinced we don't deserve better and will fight to not have it.

amen, brother. Foster/adoption programs are completely broken.

my parents fostered for about 15 years, and some of the stories you heard, not to mention the ones they experienced, are appalling.

in the end, they ended up adopting the last three kids they fostered so they didn’t have to go back into the system. And now I have 3 siblings 30+ years younger than me ??‍♂

the system is so broken, and I wish it wasn’t. But it sure doesn’t seem to get any better
the worst thing about the foster children program is that it basically pays to warehouse kids, and then they get dumped on society when they're 18 - basically with few skills and little resources. It's like a pipeline to drugs and crime.

it just seems like two sides that aren't willing to to trade a win for a loss and break even.

legal abortions, but not at the price of illegal vaccine mandates
vs
illegal vaccine mandates, but not at the price of legal abortions

identity politics is stupid. Both sides refuse to recognize Body Autonomy as a right of The Others, but rely on it to justify something for Themselves.

Don't think that's the issue. Stories of some of these places lying to women have been documented, and most likely the concern is that they will collect personal information and then snitch.

I also like the idea of alternative help. I believe planned parenthood also helped a lot of women outside of abortions, but I like the idea that there are other types of places to help too.

But I think, since at least in some places they are state-funded anyway, there should be more regulation and oversight. The medical advice unqualified people who work in them/run them can give should be vetted and curated, and I would like to see some kind of privacy protection granted to visitors.

KILL IT!!!!!!

Oh never mind. That's a nebula from NASA. At first glance I thought it was one of those pesky cell clusters that might turn into a dirty diaper factory.

So an illegal immigrant raped a 10-year old.
Maybe Joe's administration should & should've focused on the border.

Abortion issues should be left to the states.

grandstanding question.

"A classic political story involves a loaded political question. A politician tells his campaign manager to spread the rumor that an opponent has sex with pigs. “We can’t do that. It isn’t true,"the campaign manager protests. ‘I know it’s not true, but let’s make the sonofabitch deny it,” the candidate says. The question only—regardless of any answer—would create doubt in the public’s mind.

The political anecdote has been cited in print since at least 1967. One version states that Lyndon B. Johnson (1908-1973) liked to tell the story about a sheriff’s election in Texas. Another version states that the story involves Lyndon Johnson’s own Texas election. "

If a dude wants the right to have sex with pigs . He should be able to answer why it’s ok. That woman is pure evil garbage and I don’t give a shit about her wanting the right to kill babies
