GLORY Sports International, parent company of the GLORY World Series premier kickboxing league, today confirmed that GLORY 19: VERHOEVEN vs. ZIMMERMAN will take place Friday, February 6 at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, USA.

The main event will feature a heavyweight title fight between current champion Rico Verhoeven and the GLORY 16 contender tournament winner, Errol "Bonecrusher" Zimmerman.

Of course, the staple of GLORY cards continues with another one-night, four man tournament, and this time it will be a contender tournament for the welterweight title. The winner will take on current GLORY welterweight champion "Bazooka" Joe Valtellini.

The semifinals are Nieky Holzken vs. Artur Kyshenko and Raymond Daniels vs. Jonatan Oliveira. There are storylines aplenty in this tournament. Holzken defeated current champion Valtellini in the GLORY 12 tournament last December and Kyshenko defeated Holzken by decision in May of 2011. The Ukrainian won his last GLORY match up at GLORY 14 in Zagreb against Karapet Karapetyan by unanimous decision.

Best fight promotion out right now imo. Great match-up this, I see Verhoeven taking a decision, but Zimmerman packs KO power. Great stuff.

Agree. Glory and OneFC is all that I need to sleep well at night.

Cant wait for this event. I thought holzken had left. His last fight with bazooka joe was great. Not a kickboxing buff but ive been drawn to glory. I get excited for the events more than 75% of the ufc cards this last cpuple years

If you are a combat sports fan and you are not watching every Glory card on tv...........well, you might need to reevaluate your life.

I'm really enjoying Glory events but cant help myself from feeling like it's missing a huge piece do to its ruleset. Like the limited clinch stuff for example. Regardless, I'll be tuning in.
