I think the majority of Dems don't agree with most of what the MSM "reports". The media on both sides has their agenda and push it making both sides think that it the mouthpiece of the people. Certainly some will back their "side" no matter what but most people I personally know disagree with how their representatives behave.
Unfortunately the media and "representatives" no longer represent most people and just try to get each "side" fighting to keep power in a shitty two party system.
It's pretty depressing that you really can't find a non-biased news source for the most part. With the 3 big cable news channels FNC/CNN/MSNBC, you know what you're getting. The ol "If it bleeds it leads, if it burns it earns" still rings true...

On a somewhat positive note, I've been watching some NewsNation which is trying to be more middle of the road eventhough they hired Chris "Fredo" Cuomo to host a show in a couple months lol...

So you've had 30+ "dems" defend everything Hunter, Killary, Ghislaine do?
Nope, haven't heard a single bad word in person about them
Trump issues I hear at least once a week, he is the big news in my area

I don't bring politics up ever in person

That's always going to be the case. Always has been. The only difference now is media are the ones holding the book of matches.

Arizona Bucks Biden Admin, Begins Filling in Huge Border Wall Gap on Its Own

The State of Arizona has broken from the Biden administration and are taking action to mitigate the flow of illegal immigrants into their state.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced on Friday that his state had begun emergency construction on the 1000 foot long gap in the border wall in the Yuma sector. Ducey signed an executive order on Friday afternoon, authorizing the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to begin construction.

The order was unexpectedly announced after construction had already begun, and the governor’s office said the work would be concluded over the weekend. The order comes just days after the Biden administration lifted the Trump Era “Remain in Mexico” policy.

“Arizona has had enough,” Ducey said in a statement. “We can’t wait any longer. The Biden administration’s lack of urgency on border security is a dereliction of duty. For the last two years, Arizona has made every attempt to work with Washington to address the crisis on our border. Time and time again we’ve stepped in to clean up their mess. Arizonans can’t wait any longer for the federal government to deliver on their delayed promises.”

This should help cool inflation...

Next Wave of Stimulus Checks Coming, Even With Inflation Nearing 40-Year High

Multiple states will soon be sending out stimulus checks and other financial relief, a decision that some believe will make the 40-year-high inflation even worse.

In California, individuals will get up to $1,050 between October 2022 and January 2023 as inflation relief checks based on their tax filing status and income. The Colorado Cash Back Bill, signed on May 23, will give citizens aged 18 years and over tax rebates of $750 per individual tax filer and $1,500 for joint filers. The checks will be sent by Sept. 30.

In Georgia, taxpayers can get anywhere from $250 to $500, according to a refund law signed into law in March. The payments were due to be issued in early August. In Florida, around 59,000 families will receive a one-time payment of $450.

Maine will hand out $850 per single tax filer and $1,700 per couple. In Massachusetts, the local government plans to refund 7 percent of the 2021 taxes paid by citizens. Virginia residents can claim anywhere between $250 and $500 as tax rebates. Oregon has approved $600 in one-time assistance checks to low-income residents.

In South Carolina, taxpayers can get up to $800 in income tax rebates. In Delaware, each adult was scheduled to receive $300 as a one-time payment under the Delaware Relief Rebate Program signed in May.

New Mexico has announced $500 to married couples, while single filers and married people filing separately can receive up to $250. In addition, all citizens who have filed their 2021 personal income tax will also receive another income tax rebate, half of which was paid in June while the remaining half is due in August.

Worsening Inflation

These state-level stimulus checks and tax refunds come after the federal government pumped in billions of dollars in the form of COVID-19 relief assistance in the past years. According to Christina Herrin from the nonprofit Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), stimulus checks by states are a “fruitless attempt to combat inflation.”

The good people of Wyoming will be ending Liz Cheney's political career tonight. She'll be working for CNN by Halloween.

The Inflation Reduction Act has to be the most misnamed law of all time. I just read through some of it. Fucking laughable.

Get this: They have $300 billion allocated for "deficit reduction". LMFAO. That's like a company scheduling daily meetings for a year with the subject matter of "How to reduce the amount of meetings we have"
