He isn't saying anything everyone already doesn't know.
Censorship was OK because they took the moral standpoint that anything that kept Trump out of the White House was acceptable.

That's why I don't completely dismiss the "rigged election" conversations. I don't know that they did it. But if there was a way, they 100% would have been fine orchestrating it for what they considered the "greater good"

Like I said to Thuglife13 @Thuglife13 Regardless my opinion of the act, he isn't lying about it. To look at it from the other side for a minute. The FBI investigation into Hillary's emails obviously played a factor in the elections outcome even though that investigation lead to nothing. But Trump supporters don't care about that in the same way that Hillary supporters screamed bloody murder.

The timing certainly wasn't favorable for Hillary, but announcing an investigation isn't the same thing as burying information and actively deleting/banning opposing viewpoints.

I look at the Comey thing as dirty politics.
I view censorship for political gain as illegal.

I'm not suggesting they're direct analogs. I'm simply pointing out that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. There's a very real possibility that Trump is behind the Maralago raid. If that was revealed to be the case, would his supporters want him locked up over it?

Long story, short. The head of the FBI was appointed by Trump. If he doesn't go to jail, he almost certainly won't, this sets him up to make it appear to moderate voters that Trump is right and that the deep state is out to get him.

It isn't my position on the subject, but it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. We know that Donald Trump will go to the ends of the earth in order to support, Donald Trump.

I assumed it came from the other side. An FBI raid right before elections. An attempt to get fence sitters off the Trump-supported candidates.

But the other theory is certainly interesting.

If I remember right there's some obscure rule where if you're under investigation you can't run for president. My thought is that this is what's going on.
