I saw on the ESPN where league managers can put teams on AutoPilot after the season starts. So I could give you $40 for 2 more, autodraft-autopilot those teams for the entire season.

I don’t understand why having a bunch of stars on the bench makes for a better league? Have you played an 8 team league before?
We simply don’t have the people to run a 10 man league as obvious by no one joining.
If you wanna run 3 teams. I need 2 more emails. Just don’t want to hear anything when an AI team starts an injured QB , 3 TE and gives a win to someone.

It’s just means you can put injured players in that slot instead of having to release them
I might be wrong, but I think it allows you to put injured players on there, but once they are no longer listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL, I don't think it forces the owner to remove them from the IR.
I was in a league that had that, and one of the owners left a guy on the IR even after he was back and playing - he just didn't want to start that guy so he left him on IR and basically just had an extra roster spot.
It was a huge problem with the Covid-19 IR for the same issues. C19 players could go on the list, but you never had to take them off the list unless you wanted to play them.
Maybe they fixed it.
I’m 99% sure you have to move them into the active roster . Last year we had one spot. I’ve played with IR spots in other ESPN leagues and don’t recall an issue.
It was a Yahoo league that had the issues.
Yahoo sucks.
because it makes fewer quality players available on waivers, and makes the decision of who to start more challenging.
I will not complain about AI giving easy wins. It can't give any more easy wins than

this is correct. you can hold them on IR, but you can't make any changes to your lineup until they're on the roster or released
Let me clear up the espn IR setting.
If the player in ir goes from injured (ir) to doubtful or questionable, they can remain in ir and tou can still make roster moves, add drops and trades etc.
If the ir reserved player goes from ir to active ( no designation, ir, doubtful, questionable etc) you can keep them in ir but won't be able to make any roster moves, add, drops or trades etc
Maybe no point in having to ir slots in an 8 team?
If you haven't already, probably gonna want to adjust the lineup size.
2qb 2rb 3wr 1te 2flex 1k 1dst would also suggest going 6 to 4 points for passing td, if you went this route.
Could also do 1qb 3rb 3wr 2flex 1te 1k 1dst.

i prefer RB2/WR2/FLEX1 in an 8 man league, but something other than RB1/WR1/FLEX3 is ideal.
i like the idea of no IR, keep a bench spot open or give them up...that goes well with expanding the bench, although not necessary.
I also don't mind AI teams, I think it could make the games interesting. Easy wins are gonna happen for all kinds of reasons, but I think the AI is going to put up a fight. I can give a couple emails and entry-fees for AI or anyone you clowns know.
