I honest have no idea who that is. Is he not qualified for the position? He appears to be a homosexual but that in itself does mean he's not qualified. If anything, that may be helpful considering the transmission of the disease.

What do you mean by that? How would him going gay be helpful?

This is just another virus we all need to get vaccinated against, right? I've heard nothing in news media about this being spread largely amongst homosexual men.

From the WHO:

While anyone can get monkeypox, to date the vast majority of confirmed cases outside of the endemic regions in Africa occurred in young or middle-aged men who have sex with men (MSM) who had recent sexual contact with new or multiple partners. On 28 July, the WHO Director-General advised MSM to limit exposure by reducing the number of sexual partners, reconsidering sex with new partners, and maintaining contact details to allow for epidemiological follow-up.

Unfortunately most if not all "news" channels are just talking heads trying to push agendas and that agenda seems to be polarizing people against each other...and it seems to be working which is truly saddening.

The chaos in DC over the bussing of illegal immigrants is so poetic.

When virtue-signaling goes wrong. They are a sanctuary city until folks actually show up at their doorstep.

Hopefully they take care of the folks that showed up and come to terms with the nightmare that Biden's shitty policies have caused at border towns and actually address the issue.
