Cris Cyborg took a huge risk leaving MMA for boxing at 37. In her way was Simone Silva, an average boxer. What was at stake was much more. Cyborg was trying to do something different. Pave the way for other women to transfer into boxing from MMA.

There were a lot of questions, none of which were if Cyborg would win. Everyone wanted to know if Cyborg could make an impact. That she did! Selling not only 10,000 seats but a record, 110,000 PPV buys. A record in women's boxing.

Where is the prior record she broke documented?
Who verified the PPV numbers?
Was she the headliner?

It's hard to even find information about this event. It looks like it was a first time promoter? This event reminds me when they created the fake WAMMA belt for Fedor to remind everyone about how awesome he was.

That fake belt was defended more that the fake ufc belts put on Conor, de Randamie, and Montano combined.

I found several posts and websites that this dude either runs, or owns. He is his own marketing machine it seems. It also seems like he is Cyborg's manager. Lol.

Usually female boxers leave boxing for mma she did it backwards lol. I would like to see her in BKFC.
