haha

I was joking

But since you defended the machine I will say there is no reason it shouldn't be higher than 75% and no reason this problem should only show up on election day...should be tested and running well come election day, run some test ballots n shit.

Re running is a problem isn't it? I get re running to test if it is working or not but it would slow the process big time.

So get your ass down there right meow and fix this shit!%!$!#!$$!
this is the kind of thing that happens here and there, just because machines and people are fallible. But you're not going to take Maricopa County by re-running 25% of the ballots.

I'd be surprised if they didn't have spare voting machines staged up and ready to deliver, but I'd also expect there to be a custodial process that takes time.

sure, but not all problems are captured in validation. As a validation engineer, I can attest to this...if it did, I'd have to have a real job. :)

20% is a lot, but the 80/20 rule is a thing.

They should have just pointed at the machine

Said

" see this machine? "

" this machine is shit "
LoL

could be as simple as they added a step to the setup process to align the tabulators and 1 of the 5 guys responsible for setting them up didn't bother to read the new process because he's been setting these up for the last 10 years.
