Amazing how big that ship was, especially for it's time.

What is more amazing is that they are dwarfed by cargo boats and cruise ships we have today. the queen mary is here which was the size of the titanic and it look tiny next to cruise ships and cargo boats.

The goof in me still can't believe how we can have cargo ships loaded with hundreds of shipping containers and the fuckers stay afloat like nothing...

I agree I see them from like a foot away they are larger than some buildings here in height. When I go whale watching the giant catamaran im on is dwarfed by them they could actually crush us.

Let me know if I need to revisit my water displacement explanation.

Stepson of one of the passengers...

Those people are assuredly dead at that depth of like almost 3 miles their blood would become toxic and the lungs would probably explode from not decompressing the sub. they probably all would have gone into organ failure and cardiac arrest I need the tmmac doctors to give an opinion im just throwing out wild theories. @Splinty SC MMA MD @SC MMA MD They probably would have eventually gotten hypothermia too. Assuming they somehow made it to the surface they would have no drinkable water and probably get dehydrated.

I used to be think you'd drown in these situations but the most likely scenarios are the thing imploding and they all die instantly or they die of lack of oxygen/carbon dioxide poisoning. I believe they have enough oxygen until sometime Thursday but even if they're found deep in the water, no one knows how to pull them back up to the surface in time for them to survive. The best case scenario is they somehow came back up to the surface but they're bolted in shut by 16/17 screws and they're basically in a big coffin unless they're found soon...

That vessel broke apart due to the pressure of the depth of the ocean. Those people died from drowning.

* It's that or the control device that operated the vessel stopped working & they are floating around somewhere in the ocean.

** I say that the vessel is broke at the bottom of the ocean.
