I would have smoked one lastnight, but I'm still struggling with smoking 2 in a row. I'm feeling much better, but just gotta get back into the groove so I can smoke my normal 3-5
I’ve been lucky to get in 1 per week lately

It's better than no cigars at least. I vote that you just start smoking at work
Used to at the power plant. Shit, we even had a humidor in the control room. Now that I work in remote control centers, nothing’s allowed anymore. Kinda hard to step out for a “cigar break” too lol

Does anyone ever smoke pipes anymore? My Grandpa used to smoke and I loved the smell.

I'm actually really close to getting into pipes. I'm finding myself needing a quick smoke due to time constraints, and the idea of a 10-20 min pipe smoke, is very attractive. I also know, it's going to be a dangerous game for me, as I think pipes are absolutely beautiful and my collecting habits aren't the smartest ?

Yeah, my Grandpa had a large collection. I have no idea what happened to them, sadly. I remember sitting and watching him go through his ritual of loading and tamping his pipes. It seemed to really chill him out.

I'm sure it did. I can have a hectic ass day, once I get myself a drink and a cigar, I completely unwind.

I gave away a high # nording. Think it was a 13. Pipe rack, tamper & a variety of tobacco. Really gave it a shot but it wasn’t for me.

My advice is to just get an inexpensive pipe to try out different pipe tobacco with. It’s not nearly the same thing as smoking a cigar.

Let's be honest, do you really think I'm just going to start off with a cob? ?. I won't start off with more than 1 pipe though, until I know if it's for me or not. I'm leaning towards a Boswell pipe

Lol, figured. My family is off the boat from Denmark so I went all in with the Danish pipe. The tamper & rack I picked up at an antique store on the central coast. Don’t recall their brand but they were ornate & I liked their looks lol.

Oh, I've been seeing some Danish made pipes as well. I honestly hope I don't like them, cause it will slow down the cigar collection and I'll end up with 100s of pipes. I already know how it will go down, and I really don't want another "hobby" ?

I’ve been enjoying these tasty little buggers for a while now. Used to participate in a cigar thread over on the other forum & it was about the only place where the bs was left at the door.

So if anyone here enjoys an occasional stick or whatever, feel free to chime in. Most that enjoy cigars are happy to teach as well as learn.

Up tonight is a My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo. Paired with a Rod & Hammers SLO Stills Cask Bourbon

I like CAOs. Had a big habit but gave them up a year or so ago
