My conspiracy mind can't help but think it was a work. It just plays so perfectly for Trump. I don't think it was but as someone said - if you come for the king you best not miss.

This doesn't play well for the Libs. Tried to take out their opponent and did nothing but give him the greatest promotional material they could.
