In case any OG exiles frequented the topic on the OG. Freedom pic of me from 1976….M16 and Dad’s 1972 Mach 1 in the background.

For people who can never decide what targets to buy, or how to structure things when they're at the range, I think it's worth watching this video.

Mick talks about using the paper from your recycle bin at home and spray glue. You'll never need to buy fancy targets again.

I've been doing this for a couple of years. I bring some sharpies too so I can make different target point.

What was the name of that successful real estate guy from Chicago with the awesome front door? He had an amazing gun collection.

I’m happier than a pig in shit to see both of you two here!

Did Ken make the trip over? I saw Walter earlier too.

So I'm collecting parts for a 6.5 Grendel upper build.

I have the barrel, gas tube (both FREE from someone on another forum), muzzle brake, BCG, charging handle, dust cover/forward assist.

I think the only things I'm missing are gas block and handguard.

I've read that I don't need an adjustable gas block, but I'll get it if I need to.

For the handguard, I was thinking about getting it in a ghey blue color so I could easily distinguish it from the other uppers. Would that be TOO ghey? Like this:

My 6.5 Grendel was a cheap build, so I didn’t get an adjustable gas block for it. It cycles suppressed and unsuppressed just fine with no issues.

In comparison, my .308 has an adjustable gas block, and you have to adjust the gas between suppressed and unsuppressed or it will have cycling issues.
