The left hating Elon is a strange one to me considering that he is at the forefront of doing their environmental bidding with making the electric car a reality (whether it is actually better for the environment or not is not the question btw, they want it, he is doing it). One of my best friends is a liberal and we debated Elon a while back. We went though the reasons he hates Elon point by point, and they were all gas lighting shit the media told him to believe. He's a racist. He's "just a piece of shit." Nothing of any substance. His arguments were that he was platforming and enabling racists and hate on Twitter and that he is terrible to his employees. I found instances where maybe he pushed his people hard in his plants to work long hours like he did, but what my friend could not grasp is that those people were not slaves, could leave at any time, and they were likely other high-climbers that were willing to work long hours to get to the top. He also does not seem to understand that free speech is a two-way street. It is not free speech if people cannot say things you do not want to hear.

I just texted him to set up another debate. I am going to climb into the liberal mind and try to get some answers.

Now there's a lot of right minded people who were only all gas and diesel and against ev, who now are open to electric vehicles due to the elons changing of sides.

I think right wing is still firmly anti EV. What is happening is lots of centrists who are anti woke who were always ok with EVs are being labelled as far right by the Looney lefties.. that it gives you that perception that those on the right are all on board EVs but it's really not the right..
