I also don’t think RIch had anything to do with what went down. But sometimes you get caught holding the company banner while they make business decisions. The deed was done and it was handled poorly at the end.

You know, all this pretty much means the previous owners were complicit in all this shit as we've been told "deleting accounts" was impossible and they could only anonymize. Why? They would spill some non answer tech jargon.
They aren't deleting. I still lurk to see if my shit goes away and people (that arent banned) that are asking for theirs to be deleted are just being anonymized. A couple people asked last night and they were anonymized today.
And each of those people should be saving their request and then reporting it to the proper governmental agency.
Each intentional CCPA violation, for example, is a $7500 fine.
Btw, it technically can be done. I created a new account after a hiatus from the OG during college and my office drone days which lasted till around 2010(had an 01/01/01 acct). So, I came back and couldnt remember my email to reset. I created a new account thinking I was locked out or banned or whatever. I eventually found a laptop that had it stored and used that for years till it broke. Couldnt remember my email so I asked to put my screen name to new email and the unnamed mod that took care of it found an unused alt account. This was around 2015 or so. They deleted the newer account completely and merged me to my new email address.
