To be fair, it's difficult to predict when a player is not capable of comprehending the offense. The guy could figure out where to line up half the time.

He was the #1 WR on the Super Bowl team 2 years ago and barely missed 1,000 yards.
It was far from a failure.
I just remember 7 catches on 9 targets in the super bowl.
He didn't put up big numbers, but was a guy Mahomes trusted to be in his spot, and catch the ball when it went his way.
He seems more skilled than Hollywood.
Hollywood has a very limited route tree and is deathly afraid of contact.

Worthy was a beast at TX, and a 4.21 guy who can run routes in that KC offense is scary. Tyreek Part 2?
Worthy could be great in KC if he can learn to improvise like Hill when plays break down... and if he can stay healthy. He's not built like Hill, so he'll either need to put on size or find a way to avoid big hits.
Definitely has the tools to succeed in an offense with Mahomes and Kelce though
Worthy will be considered a top 3 WR from this draft class sometime next year. He's a different kind of WR than Rice so he probably won't have those numbers, but his big play ability and- more importantly- route running and elite ball tracking downfield have already been on display. He tracks the ball better than anyone this team has had not named Tyreek Hill.

2023 Hollywood had 101 targets and 51 catches. Not awesome.
I also looked at Rashee Rice. He had an 84% reception:target ratio - but the average depth of target was 5 yards - lowest in the NFL for qualifying receivers.
So assuming you keep Rice's scheme the same since it was successful, Hollywood is the 9 guy and Worthy runs the tree. Interesting dynamic.
Imma email Coach Taylor and tell him how to snuff it in Week 2.
