Fresno/Clovis wasn’t nice to Armenians lol. They had signs when my grandparents came saying no homes sold to Armenians. My mom was picked on in school for not looking white.

so yes it was probably nice for you and yours lol.
Fair enough but that changed pretty quick. I went to Clovis West with the Simonian's, some Bedrosian's and Vartikian's too.

Wait, wait you moved TO Fresno to escape minority issues?
LMFAO.....back in the 70's Fresno was lily white. It was a mix of Armenians, Dust Bowl Okies and Arkies, multiple gen Mesicans living in places like Pinedale and Taco Flats and farm worker Mesicans. There were some Japanese farmers too. Basques and Portuguese too.

Dude, you grew up near me! I was Outter mission by Crocker park. I went to Catholic School Epiphany right there by excelsior though instead of public because my older sis and cousins were already there. Parents still live there, and for the most part we have never had any issues other than my dads old CRV was stolen then found at Crocker park that same day. Me entire childhood all the way thru college never had an issue living in the City. Went to SF State. When I was in my 20s partying all over the city we all knew what areas to avoid. Never had any problems.
Too fucking funny. Mom and Dad's first house is on Vienna just off of Italy, caddy corner to Epiphany. I walked home for lunch everyday. Their second home was 2 blocks down on Vienna still right off Russia, so closer to the Excelsior park. I was there from 64 til 76. It was a great place to grow up for sure. I did 2 summers at Riordan but never got to go.

Everyone got along pretty well. Old Doc Buchanan was in charge and bad kids got segregated and sent to Gateway quick. They didn't seem to care what color or ethnic back ground you had either. By the time I graduated all about 200 of us were all pretty good kids.

Never saw this one. His mother Erin Pearsall, his father Ricky Pearsall, his step-mother Kasey Pearsall, and his girlfriend Victoria Moraga.

The Simonians I know ended up owning Simonian’s farming. My brother dated one of the daughters for a while.

I know Vartanians and Bedrosians own that big tile company

Never really put 2 and 2 together that bedrosian was founded by Armenians.

I remember Adam carolla who worked construction in socal talked about how Armenians were big into tile/granite work out there. Using the wet diamond blade cutters to cut pieces but wearing dress shoes, dress pants, silk shirts, gold chains and drenched in cologne while doing so lol
