Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic’s with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry’s and ordered 3 t66 turbo’s with NOS’s and a Motec System Exhaust.

It’s 4d chess, Dabo is setting them up for the new playoffs.

People keep saying Dabo ignoring the portal is his most glaring issue but it runs so much deeper. His offseason training program from a S&C pov needs a massive overhaul. Clemson lacks physical toughness. Dabo hasn't evolved and is much like Jimbo Fisher.

Thoughts on Brian Kelly's post game presser?
It reinforced to me that a 10 year contract for a 60 year old was a bad idea and a buyout seems worth it.

Nah, I don’t know. The outrage and emotional outbursts at the press conference are hollow gestures to me. Don’t move the needle in his favor. But when he says he needs to do a better job, I agree with him. 15 yard senseless penalties all over the field. That’s a discipline problem.

I’ll tell you gay boys what… it may have only been week 1… but the Irish is definitely the 3rd best team in the country

That was SC during the Helton era. And every time people bitched and moaned about no discipline, and constant personal fouls, I'd say the same thing every time.

"That's a coaching problem."

Well you’re also dealing with the “respectable gentleman” of LA in both cases. LSU will always deal with a culture problem imo.

It is, and I can’t figure out why coaches tolerate it. But let’s get down to the brass tacks. By the time these kids get to the college level it’s too late to put the lack of discipline all on the coaching staff. Once it’s obvious these kids have a bright future at the highest level, people stop telling them ‘no’. There’s often a lot of toddler-level maturity on display.

And with the portal, don't think any coach has the balls to say, "you take a dumb celebration penalty and you are going to sit" because they are afraid their talented players will just bolt.

They don’t. It’s worse now. You can’t discipline them or they will xfer.

This is why a 3 year contract of some sort will be adopted. NFL coaches have more control over their teams now. Insanity.
