General Official NCAA Football Thread (Ongoing)

The Weigman thing is strange. It’s like he’s a well spoken kid in front of the media. A little country even but that clip shows his “football personality”. I think we’ve all seen this so it’s not that big of a deal to me. Every team in the country would have this same “issue” in this scenario imo. He’s a good dude. He’s just got a lil Barry in him, you know?!

I went back and watched bits and pieces from our game. That secondary is elite. If Riley can figure things out even a little bit I bet yall cruise to the playoff. Really impressed by the back end of that defense. Weigman needed to run the ball more to soften that coverage up but that didn’t happen.
 
I’m not expecting much from Leonard. He’s going to be the cautious game managing QB that will use his legs when needed. Which is okay. We won’t be stretching the field like we did with Hartman last year.

he just needs to protect the ball.
 
SC probably going to lose every other game this season because I'm enjoying this too much, but it will be worth it just for shit like this:

Apparently he was a dick to his freshman year roommate.

I was too to mine, but at least he feels bad about it now, as I sure as hell don't. lol
 
Although Mo Hasan seems a bit of a douche, and it was a "feud." He probably leaked the video to TMZ to clout chase and push his podcast since he's not relevant.

I mean didn't everyone fight with a roommate in college at some point? The roommate ain't speaking out for a reason. Now watch him end up doing it and me be wrong 🙂

Ironically he played his best college ball his freshman year after Lawrence got hurt. Absolutely balled out in his 2 starts and that's why the hype was so high.

Thought he played well at Oregon State last year too.

You're probably right. He's an easy scapegoat, but they have issues on defense also. Their defense is nothing like it was last year.

Oh I still think he sucks, well maybe not sucks, but never truly lived up to the hype.

He was in a good system with a no pressure environment last year at Oregon State which helped as well, IMO.

Watching FSU imo their biggest problem is Mike Norvell needs to stop calling plays. They have absolutely zero continuity nor do they have an identity on offense. It's a jumbled mess of plays. Unfortunately for FSU fans it seems very Jimbo Fisher esque. To be the best HC you can be you cannot also call plays.
 
I was at the Dublin game. He seems to hold the ball forever and isn't accurate even when he gets it out. Didnt catch much of the BC disaster before the NCAA suspended the entire season.

My FR yr roommate was a hardcore Mormon, and one of the first things he said to me was, "I'm going to have to insist that there be no drugs, or alcohol or women staying overnight in the room."

I immediately proceeded to build a graven altar to beer during O-week, and things deteriorated from there.
