Pacheco goes off today! I wonder how losing Patrick Queen will change the Ravens defense. He was 2nd team All Pro last year and accounted for 133 combined tackles! That's a pretty fair amount. I remember when he was drafted, it seems wild that the Ravens have moved on already.
Queen was seen as a bust until Roquon came to Baltimore.
Simpson is a better athlete and was drafted to be Queen's successor. Going into last season, there really was only enough cap for either Queen or Madabuike... and a dominant DT is way more important than a WILL.

Just for comparisons sake, Willie Gay Jr. had 58 combined tackles last season. And he was not a bad player. Queen accounted for a lot of production. In Queens worst season he made 98. Wait, he was also 3rd in AP DROY consideration. That's a bust?

He needs a strong leader next to him to be successful. Trust me. I saw every snap he played... the numbers don't tell the story.
A first round off ball linebacker that can only play WILL is a bust... regardless of how many tackles he racks up.

It will be interesting to see how well Orr calls the game.
The defense is definitely the strongest part of the team. All Pros at all 3 levels.
I dont expect a ton of snaps for Wiggins tonight, but by the end of the season he's going to be a problem.

Ok, right on, he's your first rounder. Maybe we'll see him matched up with Xavier Worthy! That would be exciting. On the other end I would sure like to see Jaden Hicks get some playing time and find out if one of our journeyman corners steps up and decides they want to be second to Trent McDuffie.
Wiggins is really only going to see the field in nickel and dime looks.
And with that, it'll likely be Marlo that slides into the nickel back.
Then you also have to think about Hamilton who lines up everywhere on the defense... so some non-base looks will see Hamilton as either a nickel or even an off ball backer and then Eddie Jackson sees safety snaps.
Wiggins/Worthy would be fun though... fastest WR vs fastest Corner.
