Russ was at his best improvising and in play action, but that was in large part because defenses had to account for his ability to break free and make shit happen. Russ was not an effective pocket passer early in his career without defenses biting on fakes to Marshawn.

Same thing could happen with Bo. If Denver plays to his strengths the rest can develop as his game evolves.

Dude played his first game as a rookie, so I’m not writing him off, but designing the offense around his current strengths will absolutely help him grow as an overall player.

Not really sure the Saints are a test as they just beat on the worst team in the NFL. Tests are against proven good teams.

Besides the Ravens that you mention they got Lions-49ers(The best test)-Eagles ×2-Bengals-Texans. If it ain't those teams they really should win. That's 7 games that matter.
