I'm thinking I'll enable Bambi mode (high beams plus fog lights)
Global windows (roll down windows with the key fob)
And just for shits and gives, change the Sync3 theme to Shelby

In to figure out what the tarnation you are talking about, is this basically a chip tuning?

No, Forscan is software to access the computer. I don't believe it can tune.

You can change existing features, enable some features that were disabled, as long as the hardware is there.

The first one I want to try is changing it so the fog lights stay on when the high beams are on. By default the fog lights turn off.

You can also get rid of door ajar warnings, seat belt warnings, display transmission temps etc.

What year is your truck?

Did a little bit of modding and managed to not mess up the truck.

First one was the fog/light high beams. Now the fog lights stay on when high beams are on.

The second was changing the radio boot up and shutdown screen to that of the Raptor.

My former XLT now identifies as a Raptor. Please respect its new identity and don't deadname it.

Next up I think I'll do Global windows, rolling the windows down with the key fob, and the 88 mph time travel.

You should be able to disable the autostop/start feature, too.

That 2.7 will gain a lot with a basic tune, like 50 hp and drive more like a gas engine with no lag.

So I have 2018 F 150 with the 5.0 coyote engine, any benefit to doing this?

There are not really any major changes, but a bunch of small ones that can customize the truck. Some of the ones I've seen in addition to the ones I've mentioned:

Disable door ajar warning while in park
Disable "doo-doo-doo" Start up chimes
Increased the lane change flashed from 3 to 5
Removed Sirius form radio list
Changed panic button to fob to require 2 presses
Dark car (No exterior, interior or dash lights with lock, unlock or open door)
Disable seatminder
Double honk removed
Temperature numeric values displayed over gauges
Auto fold mirrors
Fake Engine Noise (add or remove)
Reverse tilt mirror
Tire size adjustment
Change which lights are your daytime running lights
Add climate control buttons to Sync
Remove turn signal hyper flash if you install after market LED turn signals

Some of the mods require the supported hardware e.g. the auto fold mirrors require power fold mirrors obviously they can't automatically fold if there is no motor in them and the numeric temp display over the gauges only works if your dash has the screen for all the gauges, the old style with the physical gauges won't work.

Can you disable when at a traffic light the engine shuts off instead having to push the damn button, I hate that feature.
