Listened to Greg Cosell yesterday on 95.7 and I'm a little more at ease now. Bad game not a bad sign. Fun fact, Brock leads the league in pass yards. Wild right?
The absence of Deebo AND CMC makes me worried for Shanny's play calling tho. He seems to try to get too sneaky and overthinks all the time. Pound the ball up their ass and play action off of it Shanny. Simple

He needs to return to the basics… 2019. Run run run, then PA. Mix in some exotic pre snap movements, exotic routes etc

My guy is getting open… it was a big discussion with a lot of Niners writers, fans etc on Twitter. Aiyuk was getting open. Was he the option at times? Shanny said there were plays that could’ve been made to him. No one wants to give Brock shit for his continued struggles against good blitzing defenses. He makes bad reads, and holds on to the ball too long. IMG_9841.pngIMG_9834.png

Remember also, the drops also lead to distrust by the qb.

He had as many drops in week 1 as he had all season last year.

Wild.

With deebo out this is a chance to redeem himself.

He had zero drops Sunday and was open a lot. People were trying to say he wasn’t open which wasn’t true.

Purdy and Aiyuk have been together for three years. He’s not some unknown rookie.

Jake Brendel has the lowest pass blocking grade (29.5) on PFF out of all centers who played this season. He's last at 34th.

Feeling like trouble with two playmakers down for the count

Shanahan is gonna need to work that run game to keep the team steady until they can recover

Kyle this is the game to show us what you're made of. Not when things are all flowing. Let's see when we have adversity. You always say it's your scheme. Let's go!

BA, catch the damn ball. Brock, throw it to BA. 😂

Former 49ers WR Trent Sherfield was a big reason Fred Warner was able to punch the ball out down at the goal line against Minnesota:

“I’m covering somebody way down the field, a buddy of mine, Trent Sherfield, and he’s like 'yeah run with me Fred', and I’m like 'what?', and then I realized he’s trying to get me out of the play, so I whipped my head around so I can go find the ball, and at this point it’s just muscle memory when somebody has the ball in their right hand and I’m coming left to right, I’m looking to punch that thing out.”
