He had zero drops Sunday and was open a lot. People were trying to say he wasn’t open which wasn’t true.

Purdy and Aiyuk have been together for three years. He’s not some unknown rookie.

Jake Brendel has the lowest pass blocking grade (29.5) on PFF out of all centers who played this season. He's last at 34th.

Former 49ers WR Trent Sherfield was a big reason Fred Warner was able to punch the ball out down at the goal line against Minnesota:

“I’m covering somebody way down the field, a buddy of mine, Trent Sherfield, and he’s like 'yeah run with me Fred', and I’m like 'what?', and then I realized he’s trying to get me out of the play, so I whipped my head around so I can go find the ball, and at this point it’s just muscle memory when somebody has the ball in their right hand and I’m coming left to right, I’m looking to punch that thing out.”

Sure, he's played better but he's being paid as a top 5 WR. He's currently at 62, I want him to do more and better. He will, but we need him to step up big this week. With our top RB out, Deebo out, Kittle doubtful, and a shit center and Right Tackle he needs to ball out.

I honestly think he will. He knows he's better than the last 2 games.

He can’t throw the ball to himself lol.. what else do you want him to do? He was getting open on Sunday. Not his fault he only got 5 targets
