Vic didn't want low ceiling QB play. What he wanted as a QB who was mature enough to actually operate in a offensive structure. It does not matter how good of an arm you got if your OC can't trust you to run a play how it's practiced. Your teammates expect you to run a play how it was designed.
This is why multiple coaches all saw what Vic and co saw and that was Lock was brain dead as soon as the ball was hacked. This is also why no teammates are coming forward saying Lock should have starter over Teddy.
Dallas run defense is garbage.

I dont know if I mentioned it but Dallas's last year 1st round pick DT Mazi Smith who was brought in to help with run defense was told he had to lose 30lbs after the draft by Dallas. No wonder he sucked as a rookie. You don't just put back on 30lbs in an off season in a healthy way so his most likely not gonna be at his best this year aswell.
Gotta give him credit for being coachable enough to do that to himself in back to back years.

Teddy was so limited it outweighed Drew's deficiencies, that is what I saw that season
Only thing that is certain is that Vic/Teddy/Drew all failed that year, and IMO the biggest fail was Shurmer(vic's hire) who is out of the league...handled like a shitshow and ended up a shitshow
