What was the official reason for this not happening? Didn't Tito no show, saying he wanted it done on a ppv and the money to go to charity?
Tito found a way out, can't remember the details. it was always amazing to me that Tito didn't want this fight. surely bashing Dana would have been one of the most satisfying moments of his entire life! maybe he knew something we didn't.

Tito wouldn't fight because the fight wasn't going to be in a basement gym somewhere it was going to be televised. Tito wanted a fighter contract so he could get paid for it. Dana figured that Tito should just fight for free because Tito was the one that wanted the fight. Dana then ran the special on TV with no fight because Tito didnt show up. Dana pretended to be confused at Tito not showing up and straight up lied that he had no idea why.
The fans didnt know that the fight never happened so we watched the entire special of Dana training and getting fit only to find out at the very end there was no fight. It was a total waste other than to indulge Dana's narcissism and to make Tito look stupid.

It was Tito that stipulated in his contract, not the other way around. Had Tito never done that, we'd still have skinny Dana, not roided Dana.

I remember watching the whole show then being annoyed there was no payoff at the end. Must be how the people watching that TUF season with Mcgregor and Chandler must have felt.
