According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the San Francisco 49ers are re-signing wide receiver Terique Owens, son of Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens, to their practice squad.
Owens spent the offseason with the 49ers but suffered a small hand fracture in August. He was waived, cleared waivers, and landed on the 49ers' injured reserve list, leading the team to reach an injury settlement with him on August 15.
Garafolo reports that Owens is now healthy and returning to the team. The 49ers originally signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State in April.

Ed said that CMC got tendinitis from over training. He trains too hard and needs to re-evaluate things next off season.
How does he not have top notch trainers, kinesiologists, physical therapists, and all that to identify potential harm. His body is what makes his money, gotta protect it

I get it, sadly he may be too dumb to rest and recover. When I was young and full of piss and vinegar I wore my body out and didn't listen to it. 13 reconstructive surgeries later I learned my lesson. Hopefully he's smarter than I am.

Kyle Shanahan said the team "just doesn't feel" WR Ricky Pearsall is ready to have his practice window opened this week.

Fred Warner (ankle) isn't practicing today but was hopeful in the locker room today saying his "plan, obviously, is to play."
Warner has only missed one game because of injury in his career and, before this week, only even appeared on the injury report in 5 weeks.

Jordan Elliott will be limited for the 49ers at practice today, which is really good news after he exited the game with a knee injury. Elliott has had a couple scares in less than a week
