Who the fuck is going to play this now?

Most common quick pick in CA is $5. 1xpower 1x mega, 1x super. Looks like they’re trying to consolidate the purchases. Make it easier to eliminate the individual state lotteries & other multi state.

100% me. I love buying a $2 ticket and daydreaming what I'll do with the winnings. Figure you'll get about 1/3 of the jackpot after taking the lump sump and paying taxes on it.
And about $3.50 of that after you get sued by your wife/GF/best mate/dog.

I agree 100%, but I still feel like a dumb fuck if I get pulled over.
You shouldn't feel dumb, you should feel morally outraged. Speeding tickets are unconstitutional.

The right to travel is a part of the "liberty" of which a citizen cannot be deprived without due process of law under the Fifth Amendment

Some asswipe with a badge's claim that you were speeding doesn't seem like due process to me, but I'm often wrong about most things.

Either way, I'm always 10 over the posted limit, that's the official speed limit here in Best Carolina.

Due process happens when you go to traffic court, contact your state legislature if you want the speed limits changed.

Why, on earth would you think that?

All the cool kids speed. Only dorks and grannies go the speed limit.
Get the speeding out of your system on an autox or track day. Most people speeding around & cutting in/out of traffic can’t actually drive very well.

I read down further & you stated 10 over. On most highways that’s not bad. I won’t talk shit on that. 10 over in a 25 residential area though is another story altogether

That's my rule of thumb for highway travel. It hasn't failed me yet!
If you’re ever on the CA coast (or heading there) & on one of the 55mph highways, they’ll give you 7 over. At 8 over you’re getting a ticket.

Good to know because I plan to ride out to the west coast next spring and hit all those beautiful coastline highways I see pics of.

I've cruised past cops on the FL highways going 10 over many times and didn't get pulled over.
People don't even slow down for speed traps on I80 these days. I'll be in a row of cars going 85 right past a cop running radar in a 70 zone and he doesn't even bat an eye at us.

The big city areas don’t seem to give a fuck what you do. I see people regularly blow past cops in a 55 construction zone doing 90plus & nothing happens. You get near a clean & quiet coastal town though & they’re waiting for you to fuck around. SLO county sheriff deputies have a saying “come here on vacation, leave on probation”
