I like bicycles but if around cars it is on you to stay safe, or don't go there

Old idiot is lucky, lot of skater kids would've caved in his head with a skateboard the minute he went hands-on with the kid.

Also, lol @ his creative lying while on camera.

Apparently both were ticketed, but kid is fighting the "not providing room" charge.

My door is heavy as shit. Reverse hard then break even harder the door is shutting whether he's still hanging onto it or not. My saw will cut him loose. I'm a menace to society at that distance, I'm middle-aged, dumb and Idgaf.

Getting ticketed riding your bike doesn’t increase your insurance premiums because you don’t have any. It does in your car

True, seems Peacock got Disorderly Conduct, not a traffic infraction.

Court records indicate Peacock received a disorderly conduct infraction and paid a $160 fine.

Kempton received an infraction for passing too closely, which carries a $130 fine. He said he slowed down and gave Peacock at least the required 3-foot berth, so he’s fighting the ticket in court in November.

I’ve been biking and bike commuting for decades and I’ve never had a conflict with a driver. I pretend I’m invisible and it works out well. Drivers are fucking idiots, never assume anything about their competence. You can almost always find a residential street to go down that parallels a major road and use that to travel on instead.

Yep
If your bike comes anywhere near a car in city then you aren't being smart about your route

I never really played baseball, but I always had a glove and ball in my trunk..
To justify the baseball bat.

"Oh, we're playing hardball today?"

My buddy worked at old spaghetti factory for a minute. When he quit he walked out with a 4' wooden spoon thing that was basically a Maori warriors battle club.
Doubled as cruise control in his square back, jammed in perfectly, 60 all day on flat ground lol.
