Mahomes has been trash this year.
You want to say they are a fake team with their record, but we all know the refs are going to keep them alive.
I would not go as far as to say Mahomes has been trash. Hes not been as electric as in wowing us but I dont think hes been trash.
Hes been doing what his team has asked of him and thats keep the game under control. He's like GSP when he was destroying everyone at WW. He's good at being what KC needs him to be and that's in control.
Honestly when watching him sometimes this year I sometimes think "Mahomes has finally added the game manager club to his golf bag completely and that is not a good thing for the defenses". I think hes still got that wow in him but his team does not need that now and his weapons around him are not the best. If there comes a moment where the Chiefs are down and they need that special something from Mahomes and he comes up short then I can say he played bad.
But yes the refs have helped ALOT.
