Impressed with Nix getting down on his runs and not taking contact.
He doesn't take many hits in the pocket or on scrambles. Out of bounds or dives.
Tried to run somebody over on the goal line once and that is probably his biggest hit of the season.
They didn't draft him thinking he had dangerous NFL QB legs but he certainly does.
Game is still very fast for him but you can see the potential.

Kind of surprised Payton didn't take a shot at the end of the half after going for it on three 4th downs.
I don't see any upside to that? I guess a bomb, and a hope for a flag or catch and then a FG?

Game seems closer than 24-10 because of those 2 failed 4th downs...could be an easy 24-16, but Payton gambled as we saw. Those 4th downs were all in potential scoring territory if I recall.

That backup Denver safety is pretty bad, that double grab tackle when he got up on Flowers was pathetic then he screened the pursuit. They were high(Key) on him from practice squad but PJ Locke is a lot better in both pass and run defense.

Yeah, anything to steal some points on a defense that has given up big plays all year knowing Baltimore gets the ball to start the 3rd.
Ya
I guess it does no harm to rip a 40 yard pass or two, Ravens DBs don't seem to really know what is going on half the time.

Rookie QB get into the locker room and regroup after a horrible ending to the half by the Defense is what Payton is feeling IMO.

I'm worried about the Ravens defense today (maybe more than usual).

Pierce is out.
Travis Jones has been dealing with an ankle.
Urban is out.

Ojabo and Isaac are both inactive so there really isn't even a way to use more OLB pressure due to the lack of healthy D-line.

Marlon is active but might be on a snap count. Wiggins practiced in full but is coming off being out.

Eddie Jackson is inactive... Marcus Williams is back after being benched so thats not confidence inspiring.
Their secondary is what will probably keep them from a SB this year. Wish they would make a trade for a stud DB that can lock down one side of the field.

The problem is the scheme.

Baltimore is forcing the most tight window throws in the league. Marlo/Wiggins/Stephens are great cover corners... but its like everyone is completely lost in zone.

lol
Henry is dominating but that "tripping" call was hilarious, he literally blasts guys across the field but can't run over a tiny leg still on the field without a penalty.

Baltimore doing the thing

Play calls are pretty sick yo
I can't even blame the broncos on many of these plays
Vance Joseph and his defense are getting completely schooled

Both teams needed this type of result
Reality check for Broncs, and a get right game for BAL

Gotta give it to Bo Nix... This is the first full Denver game I've watched this year, and the kid plays the right way.

Uses his feet when he needs... doesnt take big hits... and actively throws his WRs open.

All good traits for a rookie.

Yeah he’s surprised me. Didn’t think he would be this good, this fast.
