This was the crux of it, trying to decide how to respond.

"Main concern is the decor, it’s heavy on the pro-police propaganda, and i personally don’t want political agendas shoved down my throat"

One of our dining rooms is what we call our family room, it has decor about our personal and professional family. We have a wall of LEO plates including all of mine I had over my time. Plus plates of fallen LEO here in Maine. I was personally given one by a fallen Trooper's father from his collection. Every time he comes in he requests to sit at the table next to his son's plate.

We have pictures of our family's history over the last 50 years on there, both our parents wedding pictures and ours, our daughters first birthday and her growing up. Pictures of all of our pets that we have lost over the years.

All of the prime bushkill blades that I have won. The last trophy I won in BJJ tourney. The patch I was given from donating to grappling for gifts. Pictures from my staff that are personal to them that they wanted to display in it. The guitar my father owned.

I have a signed copy of a book from Dick Winters personal collection and a signed copy of a Forrest Gump screenplay in there.

I'm not even sure if I am going to bother to respond. Just venting because I'm a little pissed right now.

Find the worst restaurant in the area. Respond by saying I'm sorry you feel that way, maybe check out this shit hole in town instead.

Just reply with the following attachment:

But that just might be why I've never been suited for the service industry.

Tell them they might get stabbed, but the area is definitely light on the law enforcement atmosphere so they should enjoy it.

"I welcome all guests into our little Cafe.
I regret your lack of taste and charm, perhaps you should just make your order to go next time and save yourself the psychic trauma of seeing the things my family and I value."

Or just send that dumb bitch directions to taco bell.

Or just tell her "it's not a political statement, it's just my life and career hanging on the walls. We will likely never notice we lost your business".
Throw in a "god bless" if you really want to piss her off.

Or tell her if she knew how to cook she wouldn't be lonely.

I'm just spitballin here but the possibilities are endless.

I suggest you respond with class and decorum. Something along the lines of:

"Dear Sir and / or madam:

Thank you for your message, but I am having a hard time determining an appropriate response.

Main concern is the message, it’s heavy on the faggot propaganda, and i personally don’t want retard agendas shoved down my throat.

Please fuck all the way off & never come back.

Warmest regards,
kvr28"

I wouldn't even bother engaging. They won't sympathize with your fallen, IMHO. If they start some sort of campaign against the restaurant(which I doubt since all they did was email to bait you) then I'd start a response but it would be something legal. Not direct.

Have they done a yelp or something that reflects on your restaurant, publicly?

I wouldn't respond. It would be a waste of time. You do you, and if they don't like it, they don't have to come back. As long as they paid their bill.

It's close to election time and they got triggered by your decor for some odd reason(propaganda has flooded this person's simple mind). It will blow over some but there's more of this to come with all the changes coming once el Don takes office.

It may not make sense but everything is political, now. Even the common cold gets a side.

Thanks for the advice and chuckles gents.

Wife and I spoke about it over dinner and we will not be responding. If their biggest complaint they tell people is a 10x10 section of wall that offends their personal agenda in a 3,000 sq ft building, we are good with that. The 99% of our guests that love and request sitting in that part of the building far outweighs one shitbird.

I don't want their money.

Good job, capitan. If you notice how they don't respond to people like Candace or Jesse Lee calling out their racism it's because it's the best way to respond. Enganging publicly never ends well for any one.

Joe Rogan, for example. He gave them exactly what they wanted by apologizing for something they blew way out of context(the n word). He is now a racist by default because of his admission.

Honestly, the best way to respond to anyone like this is not to respond. The moment you give them some air, they feel they have some power.
