Exactly. Make government small enough to fit inside the Constitution.

My favorite rebuttal is “then only rich people will serve”. My response is: so what. I’d rather have Congress full of people who made their money in the private sector than these mooches who’ve gotten rich off the tax payer. And it’s not necessarily true. Lots of people who’ve been good at saving money could serve and be fine.
