So, this is a bit of a touchy subject. SOMEONE needs to ability to print dollars. Dollars get worn out during the year worse than ProWlerS girl from my schlong and are taken out of service. And there should absolutely be SOME expansion of the money supply as the economy grows. I've always thought having the federal government not having control of that, but instead the Fed, was probably a good thing given how corrupt and stupid the federal government has been. So if the Fed is dissolved, who controls the printing of money?
Why are you like this?

You mean logical? Why don't you respond with substance? Few people are bigger Trump fans than me, but if killing the Fed means putting the power of the printing press directly under the federal government I think that is a HORRIBLE idea. Absolutely horrible. They'd just print money at their every whim. At least giving the power of the printing press to the Fed, and making the Fed's number 1 priority to prevent inflation, tempers that at least somewhat. Government doesn't have the power to print money, it can only issue bonds. So Fed has to stop buying bonds when inflation ramps up to keep inflation down. Stop buying bonds means its printing less money. You think if you just flat out gave the federal government the power to print money directly dipshits in charge like Biden, AOC, Pelosi, Schumer, or any types like those idiots, would EVER stop printing money no matter the inflation rate? Fuking never. It would be devastating to the economy. An absolute wreck.

I could see something where like there is a limitation on how much money can get printed every year, to like a maximum [5%] increase in the money supply every year, absent some declaration of an emergency by a [60%] or more vote by both houses and signed by the president. Something like that would be needed to help deal with events like 2008, COVID economy, etc. But its just not an easy thing by any stretch.

Yes, when you have nothing constructive to say about a very complicated issue that I spelled out for you in plain English, you are retarded. Agree 100%

I suspect 'Doge' will go after a lot of low-rung gov employees and ignore the big ticket items...

Like SS, like military spending, the Fed and pentagon foreign wars will be ignored
