I don’t use anything. All those are apps on my tv. I only pay for espn+. Everything else I get online right through my tv. It’s really simple. My 10 year old daughter taught me how to use it.
Yep I have older TVs
So I need a stick to turn old tv to smart tv
got a Roku and Firestick, both basic versions
we only pay for internet $60 and AmazonPrime $10 and Netflix $10(can get both of their content from Tea TV but we have subscriptions so others can use them easily)

Gravity was great in 3d at the movies. Do you have to wear the glasses?

With android boxes, all you need is a few apk's (think apps) installed that have access to bt1 and bt2 sport channels. All ufc events are on those channels (ppv, espn+). Install tvtap, livenet.tv, freeflix hq, then a browser like Firefox and you're golden. If you want to watch movies and TV shows/series (not live tv) then you can install morph tv, tv zion, jetbox, cyberflix tv, and kokotime. Really no reason for cable anymore.

I tried this a few years ago with android and Kodiak etc.

it ended up being an endless fuck around. wasn't reliable, buffering and just overall frustrating experience

that's the whole kodi thing.

such a pain in the ass to maintain.

I went back to cable.

when those boxes work they work. but the minute something needs an update it turns to shit. also, I found you have to know where to go. like if one site sucks, you have to know which other site might work, and if that one doesn't work... I spent a lot of time searching for streams only to find a working one that would shit the bed if the event was high demand.

That's what I thought, figured out it was the vseebox being talked about, channel list is pretty impressive if accurate. I'll have to do some more research on it.
