I think alot of people forget how great Cam was for about a 5 year run...

Problem was that he never evolved... so teams figured him out and then he started to lose a step. And losing a step without your arm and awareness taking a comparable step forward is how you are out of the league at 32.
As far as how people remembered him.. part of it is the fact that he was a horses ass for his entire career.

Cam didn’t step up in big games. Outside of the 2015 NFC Championship, he was mediocre as fuck against playoff teams.

He beat you by being big, fast, and athletic, but if a D had Carolina out schemed, he didn’t have the mechanics to beat you with actual quarterbacking.

When that shoulder issue took hold, it was over for him. The rocket arm was compromised and he had nothing to fall back on. He’s one of the best examples of how elite athleticism will not sustain you at that level.

And yeah, being an asshole never helped his case.

Anyone expecting a fucking senior citizen to be competitive with a 27 year old was a retard.

Holyfield was better than Tyson and nearly got killed by Vitor.

This was more of an indictment of Paul... who couldn't stop an old man who only had his legs for the first 20 seconds of each round.
That’s because the script had Paul winning, but not embarrassing Tyson by finishing him

Baltimore's offense strugggggling. Lamar needs to use his legs more in this game to open other things up.

Its the new 'thing'

Younger players on a bunch of teams are doing it.
reminds me of safety pins with beads on them on tennis shoes for kids in the 80s

I don't think that he uses either of them, they just bounce around and look stupid haha
