If that dude had a knife in his hand that cop would be dead.
He was aggressively walking towards those cops for 30 yards and appeared to be yelling the entire time. He should have been tased way before he got that close.
Sort of weird there were that many cops already there. I'm assuming there was already a disturbance and this dude was pissed at whatever went down. Assaulting an officer like that should give him plenty of time to think about his actions while in jail. Unless this is New York - which if it was he probably grabbed some McDonald's on his way home after being released.
The female cop was definitely useless, but IMO it was poor policework all the way around.

It's in Burlington Vermont, basically like Portland, looks like the bar district to me but it's been a long time since I have been there, why there are so many cops around.
Church Street in Burlington is full of tourists, students, and luckily, cops.
Vermont only has 3 or 4 black people and this one can't help but be a nuisance.

And she's a sergeant, I don't think there was even a mag in the gun, or she is the unluckiest officer in the world. You hear the click, she does a failure drill, no cartridge ejected. Another click. Either there was no mag or she had nothing in the chamber while carrying and then had an FTF, then ran away screaming for 50 yards while the other Sgt took him down. Video quality is shit but that's what I am seeing.
There is a reason before each shift you do a press check and mag seat, shit happens but this doesn't look good.
Both of the initial officers should be suspended and required to attend remedial training. Actually the female needs to be put on a permanent desk assignment. Completely unacceptable in so many ways.
