Cops have footage of the killer entering a bus terminal but not exiting. Believe he took a bus out of NYC. He had already ditched the backpack and likely changed clothes.

NYPD will end up arresting some crackhead who found the clothes and backpack in Central Park and call it a day.

Even though they're still obscured, you could run those couple angles through facial recognition to narrow down the search big time.

I'm impressed that not only they found footage of when he arrived in NY a month ago but how quickly they did it. They must already be setup to have all video stored and already cataloged with facial recognition.

Hell Tempe where I live is putting up AI cameras at every intersection that can track people and cars. I can only imagine the bullshit NYC has!

Does facial recognition even work they got this guys face exposed and seems facial recognition didn't identify him. It is also funny that he wasn't carded to take a Greyhound total lack of security there too
