You guys kept telling me lioness was good. WTF? It's beautifully filmed garbage lol. For someone supposedly known for writing great dialog it was some particularly clunky shit, his lines clunking the loudest.

That was recommended to me when it came out. I lasted ten minutes. Impossible for me to buy these bad ass warrior chicks in shows and movies. Can't do it.
I don't mind when they're used to infiltrate a target. Season 1, they used seduction. Sure a Bond like man can do similar but what if the target is a dyke?

I dunno... I didn't see too much "go strong woman go", although there was some. What I saw was horrific writing and on screen acting. Sheridan, by far, being the worst offender.
Then you realize he wrote this shit, and put himself in the middle of it.
It was Segal level hubris.
No otherwise great story could make me want to see 1 more second of Sheridan on screen, delivering lines out of 80s B movie direct to vhs "blockbusters".
It was unironically self indulgent.
The next episode he's in a scene only to basically say he's not here to be a hero this time because he's gotta go shoot pirates, and struts out. WTF???
That scene did exactly zero to advance any part of the story.

I think it'd be better if he focused on one project at a time. I bet he can still make a helluva movie and I agree he should just write/direct. He's got 3 or 4 shows active at the same time.
