Orlando Brown being out moved the line for the Bengals from -5.5 to -6

By not playing, he will make exactly the same amount of blocks that he did last week. Zero.

Interesting because he was supposedly only a check down short game passer during NFL draft talk.
Don't wanna be a downer but that stat is often misleading. It's more a scheme/variance stat along with being a volume stat to qualify.

Of the 29 QBs with 250 attempts he ranks 21th in average air yards per throw.

I'm not arguing that he's been bad, I'm just saying that stat does not mean what people think it means. Guys like Jimmy G was lead leader in that stat for a time and people used that as evidence that Jimmy G was a good QB. Then only when Brock Purdy also lead the league in that stat did they start to see its a scheme/variance stat.

I mean, his 6.5 Y/A has him ranked around 30th among QB’s. If he’s leading the lead in 20+ yard throws and still has an average that low, he’s definitely spending most of his time completing short tosses.

All valid points, it is just one stat.

If you have watched all his passes you will realize that he is ripping these 20+ yarders on time and keeping the defense honest mostly in between the safeties. He does throw many short quick passes as well, and doesn't take sacks. He would much rather get the ball out short than take a sack, he is top 5 qb in not taking sacks behind the same O line that Russ took tons of sacks behind last season. Russ had 45 thru 15 games and Bo has 19 thru 12 games.

He is in no way the best at anything as a QB right now, but he is hitting plenty of deep in routes and keeping the defenses honest. Coming out of college there were many doubts he could do exactly that.

Er, what's that referring to?

I'm out of the loop on this one.
Former New York Jets defensive end Mark Gastineau's 20-plus year grudge against Brett Favre is on display in an upcoming ESPN documentary about "The New York Sack Exchange," the dominant defensive line in the 1980s that featured Gastineau, Marty Lyons, Joe Klecko and the late Abdul Salaam.

Gastineau is shown confronting Favre at a Chicago sports memorabilia show last year and accusing him of giving New York Giants pass rusher Michael Strahan an easy sack in January of 2002 to break Gastineau's single-season NFL record.

On the play that gave Strahan the record Farve sort of just turned and went to the ground. Could of been organic, could have been a favor to Strahan. Not sure why he would take a dive, unless those guys are like best friends.

Strahan should have lost the record when he clapped and praised the drugged up abused tranny kid, Desmon the Amazing, on a morning show.
