There’s no way Belichick is hitting the recruiting trail. He doesn’t strike me as having the personality to deal with teenage nonsense and the other burdens that come along with recruiting.
But, a multi-Super Bowl winning coach is one heck of a roll of the dice by both parties.
I don’t see the money being there in Chapel Hill for football to keep a team together long enough. But I’m always wrong.

Dan Mullen to UNLV.

Clark Lea named SEC CoY. Shoulda been Beamer. Maybe Kirby. I guess beating Bama is still seen as slaying the giant. Hopefully Bama losing will become a regular thing so everyone can come back to Earth for a while.

It probably should have been Beamer but winning six at Vanderbilt is impressive.
#Facts. I hope there’s momentum and they continue to play well. However, if this new money era is what CFB will be from here on out, then the ceiling probably is 6-7 wins. Standout players will get poached by attractive NIL offers.

Let's see who wins before we make that judgment.

An ASU wins it all and the playoff bitchers (like me) were right.

I don’t know the rules so I’m asking Y’all. Isn’t this tampering? Doesn’t a kid have to enter the portal before he can be contacted? Or is it legal for an agent to make an offer? Doesn’t seem right.

Dude that ship sailed before NIL. Lincoln was tampering back 7 or 8 years ago at OU. It's common place now. Is it illegal? Probably but there's no way to stop 3rd party BS from occurring. Get in where you fit in. The whorns are top notch at it anyway so its fair play.

I have no doubt. But this kind of stuff makes the rules look even more comical. CFB NIL is the wild wild west. I don’t even recall a pro athlete’s reported offer being announced before they were legally a free agent.

If I were Ewers I’d take it, because he’s not going to do shit in the NFL.

And lol at what a circus college football has become.

It's pretty wild bc that kid can make all of the throws but boy does he turn into a simpleton when pressured
