Jon Jones has chosen his moment to clap back at Colby Covington.

Ahead of UFC Tampa this past Saturday, Covington blasted Jones during his media day scrum, calling the UFC heavyweight champion a number of names, including a “f*cking disgrace to this Earth.” Covington headlined the card against Joaquin Buckley and suffered a third-round doctor stoppage TKO loss.

On Monday night, Jones decided to deliver his virtual punches and kicks to the downed Covington with a number of responses on Twitter.

Colby done goofed popping off shots at Jones and getting rekt in the way he did...

Jonny Jones is the current active GOAT and because of that status he can fire off shots all day because he backs it up...

I wonder how big a star Jones would have been if he just started off openly being a piece of shit and left it on display his entire career instead of pretending to be a good guy. This stuff is honestly pretty funny.

I was drinking the kool-aid hard after his fight with bonnar, hit him with 2 suplexes and a spinning back elbow to the dome

That was sick, he has some really sick techniques. I heard somebody say he looked like he was gassing late that fight and they suggested that is when he got a "cardio adjustment" routine in place. Was he using lots of fouls in his first 6 UFC fights? I can't recall and don't wanna watch. Was he eye poking bad yet?

I first realized he was a blatant fouler only during the fight with Shogun, he was combo eye poking and raking eyes from on top on the ground, like 20+ times or so.

Jonny meat eh? He’s quickly coming out of the closet with the double earring thing and now this. After MMA Gurus trilogy on this topic I guess he feels there’s no point in concealing his homosexuality any longer?
