Yeah I mean half the nation rooted for Jordan, or Magic, or Bird or something, but to me that is still different from claiming to be a fan of that team. Still, pro sports are still whatever. Imagine ASU wins a title and some idiots in Illinois are claiming to be sundevils LOL.

Yeah I was absolutely amazed watching his runs but I was a rockets fan to the core. And yes professional sports are a strange one to breakdown. College is much easier.

Read that article I posted. Times are more than likely going to change in ways that we couldn't have comprehended even 5 years ago.

Unfortunately this looks to be fading.

"Essentially minority ownership will be bought and sold as a unique investment almost "art piece" like. Undoubtedly the introduction of this type of power brokering and with minority ownership big wigs in the room things are going to be crazy IMO. Perhaps the new governing body of college athletics is birthed through this process of bringing in wall st and sports ownership groups. Owners and universities will come together on rules for everything once minority stakes are secured."

Thoughts?
Biggest one isn't even sports related but academics. With the "student loan crisis" (it's fucking not) how will tax funded schools continue to rationalize the separation of church and state, I mean athletics and academics, if PE is investing so heavily?

Oh it's going to be a mess. Congress will undoubtedly get involved and it will not get better. It'll get worse. Not saying I have all the answers though. My give a shit meter is close to busted.

This was a very bad idea. I just spent 20 minutes reading the questions submitted by fans. Fucking hilarious.

A favorite:
"Is it true that when your kid did something really bad he'd put on a Michigan shirt because then he knew you wouldn't beat him?"

So much fucking better than a bunch of meaningless bowl games. I know they're being played but they're scrimmage s now.
Yep. So many players have either already hit the portal or are sitting out for 'business reasons' that it's ruined the bowl games. The only one that I'll watch is Louisville in the Sun Bowl.
