We had a weird warm spell run through here and it rained today.

About 3 or 4 feet of snow just all melting too so I bet there will be some flooding for some people.

A quick conversion so my American friends can understand says it's about 35F here, overcast and raining?

Weird.

20-40mph winds, mid 40s. High wind advisory til tomorrow afternoon.

There was ice on the lake last week, dudes were playing stick puck on it.
All open water right now.

The Shed Majal is standing strong!

Last night I drove to the store in town, freezing fog and 15 foot visibility for 20 miles of pucker... it was legit sketchy.
I was exhausted when I got back!

It just rained like a mother for a few hours. Sun will blitz it, hopefully for the rest of the week to let me get some sales in for the year.

It's gonna be a hot juan this Christmas.

Mid-70s yesterday, quite balmy. Storm blew through last night, High today was 70-ish but with a chilly breeze. Tomorrow morning 35 with a high of 57. It’ll do that all winter, up/rain/down, wash, rinse, repeat.

Appreciate the advice. I have no idea what I'm doing up here. Cracked the windshield yesterday running the defrost full blast while it was 15 degrees outside.
I didn't even know that was a thing. I feel like reading this post will save me a windshield one day.

What vehicle are you driving?
front/rear/all wheel drive?
Little FWD Chevy Cobalt. It was purchased in PA and kept there for about 5 years parked outside. Then it was taken to FL for 10 years parked outside, and now it's back in PA. That windshield has been through some serious temperature swings over the years.

Ahh

Well being FWD is a big bonus for snowy conditions, maybe just good tires and some other advice from someone else that dabbled in FWD snow.

All my experience has been with RWD or 4x4 trucks, I put 3-400 lbs in the back and it really helps...I am not sure if putting weight in the back of a FWD would make it better or worse.

Was almost 80 today but should cool down into the upper 60s in a couple days!

Had a half day today so went for a hike at Papago Park!
