When the original OG (catastrophically) died, I ended up here.

Not as active, but definitely dig the same kinda vibe.

For reasons that don't matter now (and I hope aren't real), I headed over to the OnlyGround.

I headed over there again a bit ago...as in posting in my first OnlyGround thread.

A good dude (we all know & appreciate) took care of me.

But the vast majority of the fuckery in the FIRST thead I posted in?

And it's basically the exact same layout as the non frame version of the og that everyone hated, then loved when Chris switched to discourse, which they hated, now they love it. I don't get it.

We used to have 10-15 people who posted here that would use Off-Topic as their personal pseudo What'sApp. Thread after thread of mindless shit posting, inside jokes, gossip, infighting, and drama. God knows how many decent posters they ran off. It pissed me off beyond belief but was allowed to continue far too long, in an attempt to keep the peace...until one day I finally got fed up and no longer cared about keeping the peace. Now they're gone and a few of them are doing the same thing over there. I dont need a badge with 'more active forum' engraved on it that bad. I'll take what we have here any day of the week.

I would eat an Elote at the the farmers market here from the the legit short Mexican lady booth but then I would have to floss right afterwards because I can't have anything between my teeth. So I just order a Tamale, with plum in it. Very good food. To this day I have never Eloted.
