That would be nice. I kind of blew a lot of time this fall and not bow hunting like I normally do so I've been really out of touch with the current state of the forest. Last few weeks have felt like I'm just scouting basically. Better than sitting at home though I guess.
Get out of the stand and still hunt, you'll be "in" it. Hunt hungry.
For sure. Actually ordered a deer stand. Black Friday sale. The saddle is cool but it's not for me. I prefer a stand.
Next year I've got big dreams.
One is losing some weight. Been a weird couple years and I've ended in a bad spot mentally and physically. Things are looking up though so it's going to change.
Two I need to be more rigid with my hunting and fishing endeavors. Set schedules and goals.

Another trailcam gem.
This is in SW Ohio on the outskirts of the Appalachian Mountains.
Given the location I'm assuming this is a bobcat because - even though I've NEVER seen one - I know they are in the area. I've found tracks.
But gawd damn if that doesn't look like a mountain lion.
I've set up my tent 20 feet from where this dude is walking. Very cool.

I've never been on a snowmobile. I think I'm going to do one of those Yellowstone trips where you ride them around. One of these years.
