Size and depth of pond? Anything living in it now?
Does it naturally hold water, or was a clay layer part of creating this pond?

Not spring fed, down the line I'd like to work on some permaculture.
It's one acre & 8' deep on its best day, 3/4 & 6' deep at the height of Summer with no rainfall.
I recently got power to it, but need to finish building this dock to install the aerator.
The beavers are amenace.
I'm going to steel their home for this years crop fertilizer then put a bullet in them.
I stocked it with Channel catfish, bluegill, minnows, largemouth bass, black crappie & 10 grass carp to clean things up.
