At this point, I'd get rid of Samuels, McCaffery, and Purdy. Save that money, draft a QB, and bring in a veteran (ala Darnold) for a year or two. I dont think Purdy is worth $150 - $200m or whatever they'd have to pay.

Samuels has been out to lunch and decided to play a bit today of course a game too late. CMC is gonna be a walking/talking human injury for the rest of his career. Purdy let his fine ass girl ruin him along with Toyota...

I agree with Deebo, CMC I'm on the fence about, with Mason I'd like to keep him and run a 2 back system similar to Detroit. Having both in the backfield is more dangerous than using Juice in there as a FB.

Purdy is the franchise qb, IMO. Darnold isn't the answer, he has a way better line but has more sacks and INT despite the two having nearly identical pressures per game and for the season. Darnold has arguably the best receiver in the league while we're stuck with Jauan as our WR 1. Don't get me wrong I love JJ but he's a WR 3 almost anywhere else. Deebo flaked out this season and should be gone.

Get some OL protection and interior DL and this team is back to being a contender if they can resign Dre. Huf I'm a fan of but depends if he wants f you money or not.

I just used Darnold as an example of a veteran QB who could act as a stop-gap while the Niners draft & groom a QB they draft this year or next. Maybe Purdy is the guy to get them to, and win, a Super Bowl but I'm not as high on him as I once was.

Hes had an off year but he also has the tools and poise to win. 5-6 key plays that people dropped balls or missed kicks cost 3-4 games. Hell Moody cost them 2 games this year alone. Deebo another. 9-6 or 10-5 and in the playoffs and people would be saying completely different things about him. While he's the qb you can't help if your team drops balls that would be easy TDs or miss kicks that cost games. I mean the defense legit sucks this year too. I dont think he looks as bad when you look at the fuck ups from the team around him.
