No, they are unpaid volunteers but Trump will still use this to keep them quiet for the time being. This thing has been a disaster for him, he has supported the intererests of tech oligarchs against the interests of American scientists and engineers on this and he's not even sworn in as president yet.
Musk has also taken away the blue tick and demonitized Laura Loomer's X account for digging in on this story. Everything is fun and free speech until it affects Elon's business interests.

His defense of H1-B was wrong but understandable for most people considering his businesses. Just like his positions on climate change are understandable (although likely wrong) given his vested interest on the issue with Tesla.
I don't think people are eating him and Vivek alive for that.
It's their attacking of American White workers. Saying they're not good enough, not talented enough, lazy.
American work MORE hours per week than any other developed country on earth.
If any of you have ever spent some time in a 3rd world shithole you will know that ya they put in more hours but they're not productive hours.. They go around with little no process or reasoning and just do tasks and so much corruption. They will literally tear up and rebuild the same road every single year because they're just giving the contract to their brother over and over and he's feeding them back 20% or whatever. Like okay morons you can still scam people but why not build a new road lol. Just dumb shit. It's why they can average 70 hour work weeks in these shit holes but never actually improve their countries at all.
Yeah... but Musk's companies are mainly afloat due to government contracts and subsidies. His success is driven by taxpayers.

Just look at WHY India.. And you'll see why people like them WANT higher H1-B numbers.
India is the largest source of CHEAP ENGLISH speaking labor in the world.
Not of HIGH Quality, not of engineering talent, not of tech talent. The only thing they excel at is the intersection of speaking English and being Cheap.
And if TESLA must use Indian talent because it's SUPERIOR to American Talent (LOL).. Then why wouldn't they open an office in India?
Because a million tech companies have tried... It's a failed experiment they get nothing done because you need a ton of competent talent managing and supporting all the cheap labor which is why importing them temporarily into a country with tons of actually top tech/engineering talent (USA) works 1000x better than trying to get something done in India where average IQ is like 75.

I like a lot of things Elon has done, but he is not on our side and every bit involved in ushering in the New World Order. David Icke is right about him and Trump... False prophets for the right, and I'm a conservative.
The issue isn't them doing it just like it isn't the jews doing it.
