Trump was voted in for two major issues. Immigration and the economy. Why is the first big fight about how to bring in more foreign workers? Shut down the border completely for now.

In one comment on X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote Saturday, “The reason I’m in America along with so many critical people who built SpaceX, Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong is because of H1B. Take a big step back and FUCK YOURSELF in the face. I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend.”

Yes and no, right? Conservatives and those railing against illegal immigration are always couching their argument by making it clear, often in a virtue signaling way, they are for legal immigration, to an almost unlimited level. They do this for a few reasons, oneof course to not sound racist. It went over much of the supporters heads, or they never really gave it much thought thats its just as damaging as illegal immigration. I think its a similar mantra as the lefts Diversity is Our Strength and It's still a very neoconservative position to have. I'm glad people are pushing back.
Saw a clip today of Vance at a rally talking about protecting jobs for Americans and not importing their replacements. Could have been just pandering bullshit, but maybe they have enough backbone to really drive this issue and telling Vivek and Musk to get on board or get Fd.
On a side note, I just learned Vance named his kid Vivek, which is a bit weird to be, even with the Indian wife.

I listened to the Jimmy vid. Metzger shot down Elons shitty sports team analogy by simply stating the fact that the NBA doesn't pay the foreign players less than the American born ones. And Viveks take that becasue a weird nerd like Screech isn't looked at as cool like AC and Zack is also retarded. America produces a ton of smart people in STEM without having to adopt some universal nerd Indian shit culture. Although I do agree much of our popular culture is trash, but don't buy that it's creating some labor shortage that can only be filled with theChinese and Indians.

Also, and not implying Vivek misleading the public of his background per se, but he sort of is imo. He is not close to a STEM educated person himself. BA from Harvard in biology and Yale law
China and India are also vastly different. Average IQ is 30 points higher in China than India.
Why do we import more from India than China then? Because more Indian English speakers (because the British colonized them) and worse economy means they'll work for cheaper. It's just the cheapest large source of English speaking labor in the world. It's also one of the lowest IQ sources of English speaking labor in the world.
Biology is a STEM degree even if it's a bachelor's of Art's degree. I know it's weird but it's still a STEM degree. He likely took that at Harvard to get into med school I'd guess. Not sure why he chose law instead. Maybe he couldn't get into med school or someone convinced him it's a shit career?
Yeah, but usually a fair amount liberal arts is included, no? Just saying that I don't think his educational background is all that heavy or impressive. I think he probably had eyes on millionaire hedgefund type career more than being an aspiring doc

Vivek obviously loves to talk and debate. He has as much content out there as anyone over the last couple of years. If he doesn't step up it will be a major tuck.
Weinstein will keep trying to shame him into it but I think we'e probably going to see the mother of all tucks on this one.
