General Anyone else having a really weird winter

We got hit with about 12 inches of snow over a couple weeks and then a week of 50 degree weather and rain, snow gone.

Got another 14 inches over a couple weeks and then another round of 50 and rain, snow gone again.

Into January and no snow, I aint complaining but weather this year has been strange.

Seems my spraying of aquanet every morning on the porch is finally starting to pay off!

Seems like a normal winter for me. We always got a December and January thaw. Then February gets cold as balls, March is warm/cold again. Snow till April mixed with 40s and 50s

Mild winter here so far. Dipped into the 20's and 30's a couple of times. One dusting of snow. But we're supposed to get hammered with ice & snow Sunday & Monday and then stay in the 20's for several days. We haven't had a big snow here in several years and we used to get multiple one's. I dont believe in Climate Change but I do believe in weather manipulation. Not sure if that's the cause or what.

That sucks, always bring a spid bar to check as you go. Early and late ice are dangerous as fuck.

Two years ago I was on mille lacs and the ice broke away from shore. Like 20 of us had to be rescued by canoe. Fell through the ice a couple years prior and had to sit in my shack half naked while my bottoms and socks hung over my buddy heater. Tool several hours for it all to dry.

I've witnessed a half dozen shacks go through.

Big trend lately on YouTube of people fishing super early ice I've noticed. Highly dangerous and idiotic trend.

A friend of mine made the national news cycle a couple years ago, his side by side went through the ice. Recovery team and wardens were there hauling it out and found liquor bottles all around it, they were stacking the bottles on the ice as they were bringing them up. Wardens asked if knew where they came from, nope.
